Town of Veazie

A community connected by choice.

Veazie is a unique little Maine town of only four square miles and 2,000 people. Though small, it offers a tremendous value to its residents and an incredible choice to those moving to the area. Nestled between the business district of Bangor and the University of Maine in Orono, Veazie offers a full suite of municipal services and it’s own k-8 school in a safe, friendly and comfortable setting.

With an eye towards economic development, we worked with both town leaders and school officials to craft a new branding, messaging, and style guide to help tell their story.  With low cost of living, convenient access to entertainment, recreation and cultural options, and school choice for high school students,  Veazie’s story is one that needed to be told.

Now armed with a new logo, materials, and spirit, the town is prepared to tell their story and make their case for why choosing Veazie is the right choice to make

Sutherland Weston Marketing helped to join our town and school leadership in a collaborative branding project. We (town/school) always felt in full control throughout the project which took close to a year. We now have a branding product that will be at the forefront of our own communication and networking efforts. We are proud of our new logo and marketing tools, and would highly recommend SW to others looking for help with branding, marketing and sharing their story.
